I had been a Mom of boys for nine years before my daughters came into my life. Little Miss S came along and she was still tiny, well, she still is tiny, and she was really easy. Then Miss M came into the picture seven months later. She was malnourished and only time (and food) fixed that. So the girl thing was not in full effect.
Fast forward two years, and I have two VERY talkative three year olds. It's ridiculous. Really, it is. The high tone of their voices can drive this Mom insane! I'm serious. There are days that I'm so frazzled, simply because of their high voices, that I turn around and say to Miss M, "Only dogs can hear you!"
But there is so much more than that! Now, there is hair, and pinkish-purplely things on the floors, purses, princess talk of Cinderella, and of course, thanks to Mrs W, fake plastic shoes.
THEY LOVE THEM!
There is nothing more annoying, insane, adorable, than watching the two girls act out "I'm going to the store.. love you Mom, bye!"
What have I got myself into?
I know, I know, that's what girls do. But I find it so interesting how Miss M takes "pretty" so seriously. She is ALL about the pretty!! Here is a little example!
I'm going to need a drink...

I guess this is what lies ahead!! Yikes! I need a drink too! :)

Oh my goodness, do I ever know what you mean. My 4-year-old is the same way. To her glitter = everything being right with the world. I was a major tom-boy so I don't know where she gets it! I've already decided to send her to the convent when she turns 11....I'm joking of course...kinda...

Don't you love it! We have had boys after our "Princess" daughter and let me tell you Love.Love Love her but the boys are way easier! With the exception of being a 2 man wrecking crew. Hahaha

They are so different, aren't they. As a mom of 3 boys, 2 girls I can tell you the girls are easiest now. Wait til 5th grade when all he cliques start...and it lasts forever.
Emotional days, you will long for the dressing up and high voices. I thought if I pick one more toy up or food from the high chair I will scream.
Oh how I long for messy rooms and food on the floor.
