A little video about pudding 101. I had no idea. I am so glad I have educated myself on this. To read about how we figured out our issues with Funny Man I, just read these two posts entitled Meeting My Son For The First Time, and Our Life Is Different Now.
Funny Man is far from perfect, but our life has changed. He is happier and not so angry all the time, and I'm not exhausted every night from having a daily battle over EVERYTHING!
I hope you can see the changes in your kids too by just changing the products of your favorite foods. I do this not just for Funny Man. I do it for my other five kids, The Hubby and myself. Just because the rest of us don't have a reaction to all this crap, doesn't make it okay for the rest of us to put it into our bodies as well. Because I have the knowledge, I can't ignore the truth about the food of today.
It's dangerous out there, even in something as innocent as pudding.

Throwing out my fat free pudding deserts right now!
But I'm with you...I have a couple of busy bodies over here and what we think are subtle additives...can actually have a huge impact on child health...and behavior.
I need to spend some time looking through your past posts...keep the great kid tips coming!
And 7 kids today...boy, you and Jeff work fast! :)

I am so envious that you have Whole Foods. I shop there like crazy whenever I drive 3 hours to visit my cousin and stock up.
It's crazy what gets put in processed foods. Bleh!

Great stuff. I got here from following your husband and twitter.
Yeah. I love pudding but I haven't gotten any for a while-for that very reason. Nice to know you can pick something good up at Whole Foods.
Now I just have to make it when my son isn't at home because he prefers the processed, colored and preserved. (ah to be 13 again LOL)

Hi Rocky,
Love your video, I have been on a mission, since we had our son 3 years ago to cook as healthy as I can. I may be a bit extreme but we only drink water and ice tea, go organic as often as we can, I even make my own pizza!
I am extremely concerned about the artificial additives we find in foods and with a couple of exceptions we're almost totally off packaged foods.
Curious to know how the pudding will taste!

Trader Joes and Whole Foods are great places to find healthy items.

Hey Rocky! nice vid!
We read labels here in our house - the kids even read labels and they know what to avoid....they even know to avoid partially hydrogenated crap (can I say crap on your blog?)
It's gotten to a point that we've found a balance and I don't freak out as much when we go to a b-day party and see a cake with blue frosting (maybe I lie....I still freak out).
I'm glad it's working for you - THAT's for sure!
