Domenica, Miss D, left last night. It was emotionally exhausting. The boys were crying uncontrollably. It was so very sad. I was sad for them also. And at the same time, I was so proud of them. They opened their hearts and loved this little girl. They made her feel safe and loved. What a great bunch of kids.
Now, comes the aftermath. They are eating breakfast as I type, and Domenica is the topic of conversation. I have a feeling she will be for a very long time!
What a gift to our family. I am so happy to be a part of it!

I love that when you give you usually end up getting far more than you ever expected to get in return. I am so sorry we could not make it. I hope everything went well. :)

Rocky, You and your family have touched more lives than you know, and inspired even more than that. I share your experiences with my children, and they already are thinking differently and deeper. (((HUGS)))to all of you:)
