I have heard from MANY MANY friends about their kids SCREAMING while trying to wash their hair.
(Z Man is the only one in the house that complains. WHY? Because he used a body wash on his hair in massive amount one time and it stung his eyes so bad that he has yet to forget this incident that happened over a year ago! WHEW! We buzz his head nowadays, so need to worry about that now!)
Back to washing hair. I was sitting in the kitchen a few weeks ago and it just hit me (No, not the kitchen, the idea.) Why not just throw on some goggles? (yes, this is only for boys) I thought it was brilliant. Maybe, maybe not. Who knows. So many ridiculous thoughts go in and out of my brain that this could be one of those horrible ones.
What do you think?

I have daughters and I just place a wash cloth ovwer thier eyes when I rinse thier hair off shampoo, not too clever of an idea but works for me

Yep works like a charm. Started using the goggles ages ago and it's the perfect thing.
Except when somebody plays around with them too much and then they fill up with water/soap... Then it's not a pretty scene. But for the most part yep it works great.
Another good bath idea is a cheap water gun. (Just make sure the curtains/walls can take it)

There are shampoo shields...how do I describe them? A flat plastic circle with the center cut out and elasticized...you often find them for the bed-bound, but they work great with kids. You slip it onto their heads, with all the hair showing for washing, but no soap or water will go into their eyes.
